A Note from the Creator

As the creator of The Conscious Community, I wanted my first blog to focus on Community. Webster’s dictionary explains it as “A group of people living in the same locality and under the same government” and “A social group with common interests.” I have to say I was shocked by the smallness of the first description. I believe that all the people in the world create a community-regardless of where you live or the government. I do agree with the second description; a community can definitely be created around a common theme-that is my goal with The Conscious Community.

Three years ago, as an Intuitive, I felt the world beginning to shift in big ways. As an Astrologer I saw it with the movement of Pluto into Capricorn. Pluto is the planet of transformation; it creates foundational and long lasting change-both personally and globally. Pluto had been residing in Sagittarius since 1995 and the focus was on philosophy, foreign affairs and education. Sagittarius energy is optimistic and enthusiastic and it brought about wonderful charter schools, acceptance of various religions and philosophies shown by movies like “Slum Dog Millionaire.” However, sometimes Sag can be overly optimistic which is exactly what we saw with the housing boom and the stock market. Now that Pluto is residing in Capricorn we will see big shifts in the Earth (Japan Tsunami), and major changes in big business and the work force.  The U.S. being downgraded by Standard and Poor is an example of that. We no longer work for the same company for 30 years-we are being forced to examine what we can do to create our own stability. Our real sense of community is expanding. Pluto is preparing us for the move into Aquarius in 2023 when we can expect amazing scientific discoveries and humanitarian efforts.

Uranus, the rebel planet moved into the Warrior sign of Aries this year. Uranus represents freedom and individuality and Aries will fight for its rights. We have seen this movement take place in Egypt and most recently in Libya with the removal of Dictator Mohmar Khadafi. Now is the time for the community of the people. This year Neptune the planet of spirituality is shifting out of analytical Aquarius and is floating into its natural home of Pisces. This will bring a time of consciousness raising, psychic growth and compassion for others. Neptune will be in Pisces until 2026 and will hopefully bring about the true understanding of oneness and maybe even world peace!

With all this powerful energy shifting in the world-I was compelled to create this community of talented, conscious individuals. People are starting to wake up now to a new way of thinking and living. Astrology, Mediumship and Tarot aren’t considered odd anymore! Many people do Yoga, meditate and take herbal supplements! We are more concerned about the earth and the foods we digest. We now know there are multiple ways we can help ourselves live our best lives. I want to help you on the journey!

I have been in the Phoenix area for 25 years now and I have had the pleasure of meeting many amazing talented professionals who work with integrity and who are really there to serve their clients. I started getting together with a few colleagues and discussed creating a community of practitioners that work together-instead of competing against each other. My intention with The Conscious Community is to create a cohesive community of experts and to bring you some of Arizona’s finest practitioners that will assist you on your unique path. I want to offer you a safe haven in this ever changing world. This is a community that is constantly growing-we are always looking to add more qualified professionals to the listing-so if you know of someone or YOU are that person then please contact me.
